Interior finish peeled off after second use!
Buyer beware! It was my first Staub cocette purchase and will be the last because their manufacturing standards are not consistent. To make things worse, Zwilling puts the expense on the wronged customer to ship a heavy cast iron pot back to them. No refunds only will replace the product with an equivalent or whatever is available.

Arrived damaged and refused free return
My item arrived damaged and I didn't notice right away--cast iron is literally poking through the enamel on the based and damaged my ceramic stop top--and I'm being asked to pay for return shipping myself. I think when spending nearly $300 on a product customers should have a reasonable expectation that items arrive in good condition.

A happy impulse buy
I was set to buy a different brand of cast iron but Staub caught my attention after I saw a famous chef use the product. I researched for the best cast iron and I found that I like the matte interior of Staub which will probably look better in the long run compared to other brands. I think the 3.8 L will be just right for my small family. When the product arrived, I was just amazed at how sturdy and beautiful it looks. I still have to use it a few more times before I can say anything about its performance. My only complain is that the box was badly damaged. It was also not sealed in the box but I think it’s the fault of the store I brought it from. I plan to buy more Staub products in the future!

The Best
I have been using stainless steel cookware for sometime. Don't get me wrong, they are good -- but .. after having them for a while, cooking had seem boring.
I spoke to a friend who owned some le Creuset -- and told her, I might get one for myself. Then she mentioned STAUB. I did my research and splurged on one -- and I DID NOT REGRET it! The flavour of the meat and how tender they were cooked and even the veggies -- I have found my joy back in my kitchen. My hubby was delighted!

The lid is damaged

Be careful with online purchase
Plan to give my mum as a mother's day gift. Received it and found the lid is defective as some paint went off. Was told needs several weeks exchange. Very disappointed for the online purchase.

New product came with a paint chip
Purchased this new product online and it came with a paint chip on the rim which cut deep enough to expose bare metal. This was deemed acceptable quality by customer service.
